Ramadan is known as the most blessed month where our supplications tend to be accepted by Allah SWT. As a Muslim, we are to believe that our supplications is the best antidote to our fears, worries, adversities and challenges. Prophet Muhammad SAW has said, “The supplication is the essence of worship.”(Al Tardmizi). If you believe in worshipping Allah SWT to gain his blessings, then you would take the opportunity to increase your supplications to be heard in this blessed month of Ramadan.
In essence, our supplications do not have to be long as long as it encapsulates your intentions and hopes in a specific manner. It was reported by that Saidatina Aishah that the Prophet preferred supplications that are few in words and comprehensive in meaning. (Abu Dawood). In addition, Prophet Muhammad SAW has said : “There are three whose supplication is not rejected: The fasting person when he breaks his fast, the just leader, and the supplication of the oppressed person; Allah raises it up above the clouds and opens the gates of heaven to it. And the Lord says: ‘By My might, I shall surely aid you, even if it should be after a while.’” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi]
Adab or Etiquette (Adab) of Making a Supplication or Dua
In Islam, we are taught several adab before making a dua to make it more impactful.
1. Have faith that Allah hears and will respond to our pleas.
2. Start by praising Allah SWT with his His Most Beautiful Names
3. Send your blessings upon the Prophet SAW and salawat on the Prophet
4. Speak with a soft and humble voice
5. Facing the Kiblat if possible.
We are reaching to the last 10 days of Ramadan in a few days. Let us continue to persevere and increase our supplication and may Allah SWT grant our dua to meet Lailatul Qadar. Insya Allah

Allah will never answer “No” to our Duas.
It will always be “Not yet” or “I have something better for you“
And Ramadan is the best time to increase our supplications because Allah will not reject the supplications of a fasting person when he is breaking his fast.
Allah knows best and HE is the best of planners.
